I couldn’t give Marco (and ICA generally) a stronger, more positive recommendation. I have lived and worked all over the world and would put the service that I have received from Marco among the best that I have received anywhere. He is responsive, direct, and very thorough. One of his characteristics that I have most enjoyed, and which speaks to his trustworthiness and general strength of character, is that when he doesn’t know the answer to an issue or question that may arise (and such things will happen during the process), he simply says that he’s not certain of the correct answer at the moment and promises to get back with you right away. And then, he gets back to you right away without further follow-up.
As a general matter, he is intelligent, friendly, and uses very good common-sense when dealing with bureaucrats within the various administrative offices. The last of these traits, I feel, is just as important the first, since handling these matters in the “wrong” way potentially could put a tarnish on one’s application.
My family lived last year in Florence, Italy, and I can assure that it would have been a much more difficult experience without his help. In addition, my two young daughters and I received our Italian citizenship in the spring and, as a testament to his work, I am now using him to secure citizenship for my wife.
