Ciao Marco and Rafi D! I can personally attest to ICA’s ability to do this. I thought my case was a slam dunk as my dad’s dad was born in Italy. But it turns out that line was not usable as my grandfather had naturalized before my dad was born. But ICA found that my mom’s grandfather was still an Italian citizen when my grandfather on my mother’s side was born. My mom had never even met her dad’s dad, he died before my mom was born, and they found this out and now I am just waiting for my recognition. ICA is the real deal. They are amazing. Anna & Italian Citizenship Assistance have been so helpful through the whole process of collecting documents, organizing folders, setting up appointments, filling out forms, remembering appointments, following up… all of it. Silvia and Marco were AMAZING! They made it so easy to get all of our paperwork in order to obtain our Italian citizenship the proper way so that it could be processed as quickly as possible. It was definitely well worth going through them. The process is very confusing and convoluted and they made it very easy for us. Silvia was always very prompt in getting back to our email questions and we had a lot of them. We highly recommend them!
