
Andrea is a practicing Italian attorney based in Bologna who has embraced the challenge of cross-border litigation throughout his career. He is admitted to the Italian bar and actively practices before the Italian courts. For ICA, he specializes in all judicial matters related to Italian citizenship, from assisting individuals who have been denied their right to Italian citizenship by Italian consulates abroad, to individuals who need legal representation in Italy to enforce their right to Italian citizenship through a female ancestor. He has successfully won numerous cases involving delicate citizenship matters and is widely recognized as a leading practitioner in Italian citizenship law. Andrea is an irreplaceable member of ICA’s legal team who brings extraordinary knowledge of Italian citizenship and family law. Andrea graduated from the Law University of Ferrara, Italy.

Serena is an Italian attorney registered with the Bar Association of Rome who actively practices law in Italian courts. She obtained her law degree from La Sapienza – University of Rome. During her legal apprenticeship, she focused on civil law matters such as lease agreements, condominium issues, and succession cases, as well as family law matters, including separation, divorce, and child custody disputes.
At ICA, Serena provides legal advice and expertise in all areas of Italian citizenship law. She specializes in evaluating complex citizenship cases, conducting jurisprudential research on Italian dual citizenship, immigration law, and child protection. Her expertise is mainly focused on “1948 cases,” where she assists clients applying for Italian citizenship through a female ancestor and who require representation in Italian courts.
Serena has also successfully handled cases involving international and national adoptions at the Juvenile Court, matters related to legitimate and natural filiation, and the regulations surrounding surrogacy.
During her free time, Serena enjoys reading, cooking, and cycling.

Domitilla completed her law degree in April 2020 at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. During her final year of studies, she specialized in European law, focusing on EU law and regulation. Her interest in international law and immigration legislation grew after she wrote her final dissertation on family reunification and child protection.
Following her studies, Domitilla gained practical experience as a trainee lawyer in law firms that primarily dealt with citizenship, family law, immigration law, and child protection. This experience further enhanced her knowledge in these fields.
At ICA, Domitilla is a legal advisor, primarily responsible for drafting citizenship claims and conducting case law research, particularly on sensitive topics such as adoption and surrogacy. She also specializes in assisting clients applying for elective residence visas or spousal permits (carta di soggiorno per familiare di cittadino UE).
During her leisure time, Domitilla enjoys cooking for her friends, going to the gym, watching football, and organizing trips to Italy’s most beautiful villages. She is fluent in Italian, English, French, and Spanish.

Laura completed her master’s degree in law in February 2020 at the University of Pisa. Prior to joining ICA, she gained experience working for various law firms in Tuscany, primarily focusing on commercial and criminal law.
Within the ICA team, Laura specializes in immigration and citizenship law, providing assistance to clients with their citizenship applications, with a particular emphasis on 1948 cases filed with local courts. Laura has a strong academic interest in comparative civil law, which enables her to analyze citizenship cases from various perspectives and devise effective strategies for each situation.
Laura’s dedication to her work is reflected in her commitment to studying foreign languages, particularly English and Russian. Laura is fluent in Italian, English and Russian.
In her leisure time, Laura enjoys hiking and spending time with her dogs.
