Erika graduated with a degree in modern languages and culture from the University of Enna, Italy. Her passion for foreign languages and different cultures ignited her desire to travel and live abroad at a young age. Notably, she lived in the vibrant town of Stratford-upon-Avon, UK, home of Shakespeare, where she honed her interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, while working in a social and educational setting.

Erika also holds master’s degree in languages for communication in international enterprises and organizations from the University of Modena, Italy. During her undergraduate year, she participated in the Erasmus exchange program and ventured to Tampere, Finland, where she completed various English language courses focused on business and interpersonal relationships. This experience provided her with the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, learning about their customs and cultivating her interest for cultural immersion. Erika also participated in the prestigious National Model United Nations project at the United Nations in New York City. As a diplomat and ambassador, she actively debated and analyzed topics on the international political agenda alongside trainees from around the globe.

At ICA Erika specializes in guiding clients through citizenship applications by descent, involving both lawsuits and consular appointments. In particular, she retrieves vital records from the U.S. and Italy, amending them as needed, and meticulously prepares all of the vital records and the legal documents needed for a successful citizenship application. Erika also assists clients who wish to apply for dual citizenship based on residency in Italy.

Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Erika enjoys to be in nature, and frequently undertakes hiking and climbing activities.

ANDREA VITORI

Andrea was born in Zadar, Croatia. She moved to Rijeka to pursue her passion for law at the University of Rijeka, with a particular focus on international law and human rights. After university she completed a master’s program in media design. Throughout her studies, Andrea demonstrated her versatility by combining her skills in IT and law, working in various administrative roles during and after university. She actively participated in multiple video game projects, including organizing eSport tournaments and co-founding and managing a startup venture.

Due to her Italian heritage, Andrea developed an interest in obtaining Italian citizenship by descent, which led her to join ICA as an Italian Citizenship Specialist. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail are valuable assets in her role. Combining her knowledge of the law and IT, she is able to navigate complex legal processes and streamline administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in documentation. Andrea supports clients throughout their citizenship application process, from retrieving vital records to submitting applications at Italian prefetture or the Italian courts.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys playing video games, writing, and reading science fiction and fantasy books. She is fluent in Croatian, English, and Italian.

ILARIA SAMBINELLO

Ilaria gained experience in the hotel and catering industry before completing her degree in language mediation from Campus CIELS in Padua. Ilaria has also worked in Venice and Germany for a leading hospitality company in Europe, where she learned the value of hard work and collaboration within a team to achieve desired outcomes.

With a specialization in translation and interpreting, particularly in the marketing field, Ilaria provided support to foreign students at university, helping them prepare for their Italian exams, particularly the speaking tests. Additionally, she actively participated in events to promote her university.

After graduating, Ilaria embarked on an Erasmus traineeship program in Galway, Ireland, where she worked as a trainee at a private English school. Her responsibilities included student registration, invoice preparation, and course promotion. Through interactions with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and different parts of the world, Ilaria developed an interest in immigration and citizenship law.

Before joining ICA, Ilaria served as a sales and marketing assistant for different well-known Italian companies. This experience allowed her to enhance her organizational, interpersonal, team-working, and time-management skills.

In her current role at ICA, Ilaria serves as one of the dual citizenship specialists. She assists clients who wish to apply for dual citizenship based on residency in Italy and based on their Italian roots, guiding them through all the necessary steps to prepare a comprehensive application kit for their appointment at the Italian consulate or prefetture.

During her free time, Ilaria enjoys swimming and recently obtained her lifeguard certification. She is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish.
