
Lisa graduated from The University of Foreign Languages and Literature Ca’ Foscari, in Venice, Italy in 2014 where she also obtained her master’s degree in American Literature, History and Politics in 2017. She loves English and Italian literature and in particular the works of Paul Hauster and Don Delillo. Lisa’s primary focus at ICA is to communicate with those who are interested in our services and conducting preliminary assessments of cases and doing in-depth genealogy research. Lisa makes herself available to answer questions on the intricacies of the process. Lisa is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the Italian system with her own approach to assessing prospective cases, another truly invaluable team member.
Lisa is fluent in Italian, English and French.

Lisa graduated in Foreign Languages, Literature and Modern Cultures in 2017 from the University of Padua. After graduating, she pursued a Master’s degree in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation. During her studies, Lisa spent time in Germany and France where she greatly enhanced her language skills and learnt about these countries’ cultures. She also gave English and French lessons to middle school and high-school students. Prior to joining ICA Lisa worked as a marketing director for a well-known Italian publishing company.
Lisa’s role at ICA is to provide preliminary information to potential clients who are interested in ICA’s services. She also carries out genealogical research to determine whether people are eligible to apply for Italian citizenship. Lisa specializes in assessing complex cases prima facie, which involve discrepancies and inconsistencies on client’s documents. Lisa enjoys carrying out research to help clients determine their eligibility for Italian citizenship.

Bianca was born in Romania and moved to Italy when she was still a child. She holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Culture from the University of Bergamo, Italy. Throughout her studies she attended a number of highly specialized courses at the university of London, which focused on the study of foreign languages.
Bianca’s interest in dual citizenship has its roots in her personal experience. In fact, she successfully obtained Italian citizenship for both her family and herself.
Bianca’s role at Italian Citizenship Assistance is to determine ICA’s prospective clients’ eligibility to apply for Italian citizenship by descent. This entails performing a preliminary analysis of their case which often requires in-depth genealogical research. Once she establishes if a client is eligible she determines whether they will need to apply via an Italian consulate (or Italian municipality), or if their claim to citizenship must filed in court via a judicial proceeding. Bianca then discusses the best path with the client and provides information about what needs to be done in order to kick off the process. Bianca enjoys helping people discover their family history and connect with their Italian roots.
In her free time, she enjoys reading history books, taking cooking classes and spending time with her dogs.
Bianca is fluent in Italian, Romanian, English and Spanish.

Giorgia graduated in English and Russian from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Pedagogical University of Tula, Russia, where she specialized in Russian linguistics. As a result of studying abroad, Giorgia developed an interest in foreign languages, particularly in Philology, and this informed her decision to pursue a Master Degree, which she obtained from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where she specialized in Business English and Russian. During her time in Russia she also worked as an English teacher and she came into contact with the Italian community in Moscow.
At ICA Giorgia assesses client’s eligibility to apply for Italian citizenship by descent by carrying out genealogical research and by examining their family tree in order to determine the best path towards acquiring Italian citizenship. Giorgia’s duties include providing potential clients with information regarding the services that ICA offers and identifying the one that best suits the potential client’s needs.
Giorgia has in-depth knowledge about the requirements established by Italian consulates abroad and she provides ICA’s clients with thorough information about the documents and the vital records that they need in order to apply for Italian citizenship by descent.
During her spare time Giorgia loves watching thriller movies and taking dancing classes. Giorgia speaks fluent Italian, English and Russian.

Irene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and Civilizations from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, where she specialized in Japanese and Korean languages, literature and culture.
After graduating, Irene worked as a professional translator, teacher and education consultant in a private language school. She also worked as an education program manager and administrator. Prior to joining ICA Irene worked for an accredited educational institution where she managed and organized EU-funded projects, including a number of workshops, e-learning courses and professional training sessions.
As a descendant of a Dalmatian refugee, Irene has always been interested in family history and migration flows, and this is why she decided to join ICA. Irene’s duties at ICA include carrying out genealogical research in order to help clients retrieve the vital records needed for their citizenship applications. Irene has extensive knowledge of both Italian and U.S. genealogy databases and she is an exceptionally talented genealogist. Irene is also head of ICA’s Genealogy Research Department, which comprises a number of researchers and vital records procurement specialists who support ICA’s citizenship specialists in collecting all the proof which the Italian authorities need in order to assess an individual’s eligibility to apply for Italian citizenship by descent.
In her free time, Irene loves reading, practicing sports and spending time with her three dogs.
She is fluent in English, Spanish and Japanese.

Ambra graduated in Linguistic Mediation for Advertising, Marketing and PR from CIELS University in Bologna. While studying, she pursued an internship in a nonprofit organization in Modena. Her role as cultural and linguistic mediator between India and Italy gave her the opportunity to experience a substantially different culture and to engage with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
At ICA Ambra focuses on conducting genealogical research and assisting clients in the preliminary stages of their citizenship application. In particular, her goal is to assess clients’ eligibility and provide them with all the necessary information in order to apply for Italian citizenship. Ambra’s interest in citizenship is rooted in her personal background. In fact, her grandmother’s sister emigrated to the U.S. in the 1960s and now half of her family lives in the States. Therefore, Ambra has experienced the strong connection between Italy and the U.S. and she enjoys assisting individuals who share a similar history to hers.
In her free time, Ambra enjoys reading, visiting art galleries and skiing. She also loves visiting her family in the U.S. or travelling to new countries.
Ambra speaks English, German and Russian.

Erica graduated in 2020 in Foreign Languages and Translation from Campus Ciels in Padua, Italy, where she specialized in Tourism Management and International Commerce. During her high school years, she obtained excellent academic results and due to this she took part in the Erasmus+ project in Bournemouth, UK. While she lived in the UK, Erica pursued an internship in a language school based in Poole.
Erica’s role at ICA is to assist clients throughout the preliminary stages of their application process by providing them with an eligibility assessment. In particular, Erica carries out genealogical research and she determines the best path for them to apply for Italian citizenship by descent. She is very detail-oriented and has in-depth knowledge of the laws that regulate the process of obtaining Italian citizenship in particular for U.S., UK and Canadian citizens.
During her spare time, Erica enjoys playing the guitar and expanding her vinyl record collection.
She speaks English, German and Spanish.

McKenzie was born in the United States and graduated from the University of Redlands in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in both liberal studies and psychology. During her time at the University of Redlands she studied in Europe, which allowed her appreciation and interest in other cultures to grow. She obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.
After graduating she worked as an Intern for the City of Yucaipa, where she performed multiple clerical duties to assist the planning department efficiently complete tasks. Her duties included organizing information for meetings, maintaining the filing system and helping organize upcoming events. Additionally, she volunteered at a used bookstore in her free time.
At ICA, her role includes providing front desk support and assisting clients with phone enquiries.
She also helps potential clients to set up consultation appointments with ICA’s client intake team in order for their citizenship cases to be assessed.
McKenzie’s interests include watching Italian movies, traveling to new places, reading and drawing.

Asia’s personal interest in English and German literature ignited her passion for foreign languages, and was a factor in her decision to enroll in International Relations for Finance and Marketing at the University of Bologna. This enabled her to delve into a diverse array of subjects including foreign languages, international law, and finance.
Subsequently, she attended a master program in International Cooperation and Development where she studied International Law.
Asia’s thirst for knowledge and cultural exploration led her to embark on internships and teaching programs, gaining valuable insights into different cultures and social structures. Immersing herself in her studies, Asia had the opportunity to live in Germany and Ireland. For Asia, living in Dublin was a particularly rewarding experience, as she worked as a trainee for two Irish companies that dealt with corporate immigration. These experiences enabled Asia to further enhance her English language skills while teaching Italian to Erasmus students.
At Italian Citizenship Assistance, Asia conducts extensive genealogical research and provides preliminary assessments to determine clients’ eligibility for Italian citizenship. She offers expert advice and helps clients navigate potential challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
Asia is proficient in Italian, German, English, and Spanish. During her leisure time, Asia pursues her musical talents, playing piano and guitar. She also finds delight in reading science books and exploring the world of music production.

Lorenza graduated in Linguistics and Translation, with a focus on entrepreneurial tourism, at the University for Foreign Students of Siena. Her passion for culture and communication led her to specialize in foreign literature and languages, specifically English, Spanish, and Portuguese. This allowed Lorenza to be involved in various projects that promoted cultural exchanges with foreign students living in Italy.
Currently, Lorenza is part of the ICA intake department, serving as the first point of contact for new clients. Lorenza assists clients through email, phone, or Zoom consultations, helping to determine eligibility. Lorenza also outlines and details the services and support ICA provides, enabling clients to commence the process with clarity and peace of mind.
In her free time, Lorenza enjoys experimenting with new cooking recipes while listening to podcasts.

Miriana’s academic journey began with her studying International and Intercultural Communication at the University of Bari, Puglia. She later pursued her passion for language and intercultural cooperation by undertaking Modern Languages for Intercultural Communication and Cooperation in Padua.
Miriana has a special interest in cultural relations and immigration flows, and sees them as significant and captivating aspects of human history. Miriana is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and French, which enhances her capacity to connect with diverse cultures.
At ICA, Miriana plays a vital role in the preliminary stage of support, reconstructing Italians’ migration to foreign countries and determining clients’ eligibility for Italian citizenship by descent. Miriana meets clients over Zoom or phone calls, providing personalized assessments and this ensures the best course of action based on the needs of the clients.
In her leisure time Miriana finds joy in long walks and the beauty of good music.

Alessia completed her BA in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the University of Padua, Italy, in 2021. Her specialist areas of study focused on English and French literature, culture, and translation.
At ICA, Alessia’s role involves conducting genealogical research using online databases to determine the eligibility of potential clients for Italian citizenship by descent and by marriage. Alessia provides individuals with the information needed to initiate the application process, and supports clients to find the most suitable pathways to securing Italian citizenship.
During her leisure time Alessia enjoys engaging in sports activities and watching movies.

Letizia fell in love with languages at an early age. She enrolled at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice to improve her knowledge of the English language and to study Portuguese literature and culture. Letizia has a bachelor’s degree in languages and civilizations, and specialized in international relations.
Letizia’s role at ICA is to conduct genealogical research and assess clients’ eligibility to apply for Italian citizenship by descent. She assists clients during the preliminary phase of the process by providing information through email and phone consultation. Letizia is also in charge of tutoring the newer members of ICA by helping them transition from the genealogical department to the intake department.
In her leisure time, Letizia loves playing soccer and drums, reading and watching TV shows. Her passion for language is under continuous development, and she is currently teaching herself Norwegian.

Alessandra was born and raised in Connecticut. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a focus on marketing and supply chain management.
During university, Alessandra completed several internships at non-profit organizations, marketing, sales and advertising firms in Boston.
After graduation, Alessandra worked in hospitality management where she was responsible for all aspects of business and operations, from financials, human resources, to event planning.
Alessandra commenced the process of acquiring her own Italian citizenship by descent after the global health emergency, and relocated to Italy to submit her application, while also taking the opportunity to travel and enjoy the Italian culture.
Once officially becoming an Italian citizen, Alessandra decided to stay and begin a new chapter of her life in Italy.
Alessandra’s role at ICA allows her to be both a part of the client intake team as well the marketing team. She conducts genealogical research to determine clients’ eligibility and advises them on how ICA’s services can guide them through the citizenship process.
Alessandra also writes articles and online content for the ICA website about Italian dual citizenship.
In her leisure time, Alessandra enjoys watching old movies, baking bread, and painting.

Alessandra graduated in 2022 from Stetson University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature and languages, with a focus on dramatic and creative writing.
Alessandra’s role at Italian Citizenship Assistance involves conducting genealogical research in order to assess potential clients’ eligibility to apply for Italian citizenship. She also provides information regarding different methods to apply for Italian citizenship during the preliminary phase of the process via zoom and phone consultations.
Alessandra has an interest in foreign languages and cultures, and has attended a foreign languages institute, which allowed her to travel and learn several languages.
Alessandra is fluent in English, French, and German.
In her leisure time, Alessandra enjoys tv shows, listening to country music, going to sport events and spending time with her friends.

Maria was born in Venezuela and moved to Italy in 2019. Maria has always been interested in learning new languages and upon moving to Italy, her passion to learn and to understand the Italian culture meant she became fluent in a very short amount of time.
At ICA, Maria performs genealogical research in order to determine clients’ eligibility and provides them with guidance on how to begin the process of obtaining Italian citizenship by descent. Maria also has frequent Zoom consultations with clients in order to thoroughly discuss their unique and specific cases.
In her leisure time, Maria enjoys going to the gym, being with her friends and spending time with her two cats.
Maria is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.

Sabrina completed her bachelor’s degree in Tartu, Estonia, and after graduation she moved to Poland to work as an Italian teacher.
Sabrina also holds a master’s degree in modern languages for international communication and Cooperation in English and Russian from Padua University.
While pursuing her master’s degree, she spent a period of time in Budapest, Hungary, where she did her research for her thesis.
Sabrina is fluent in Italian, English and Russian.

Sabrina possesses comprehensive knowledge of the requirements set by Italian consulates abroad, and provides clients with detailed information on the necessary documents and vital records for their citizenship application.
In her leisure time, Sabrina enjoys cooking and reading.
