Martina graduated from the University of Venice in International Relations, where she studied international economics and law. She speaks fluently in five languages, namely her native language Italian, as well as English, French, Spanish and Russian.
Previously, Martina worked at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva, Switzerland, where she became familiar with immigration law and passionate about dual citizenship.

As a part of ICA, Martina acts as liaison with our citizenship attorneys, Marco and Andrea.
She is in charge of reviewing and preparing all the documents needed to file citizenship petitions in court. Martina’s specialty focuses on cases related to women’s rights, with a high majority of “1948 cases”.
Her background in history, law and human rights, makes her one of our team’s key members.
In her spare time, she likes to travel throughout Europe and enjoys dancing to Latin music.

ANNA SIMONCINI

Anna studied at the University of Ca’ Foscari in Venice where she obtained her undergraduate degree with full marks in Foreign Languages (English and Russian), and where she also completed her Master’s degree in International Relations. Anna is very passionate about international law; as a student she participated in a number of research programs offered by international organizations and she also attended a Harvard Law School program.

Throughout the years Anna has built her expertise in handling complex citizenship cases with a special focus on citizenship applications which are submitted to Italian consulates in the United States. She is an expert in the laws that regulate dual citizenship application processes in Italy and in the procurement of US vital records. She is also a professional genealogical researcher and an excellent translator.

Anna is an amateur singer and she loves traveling and experiencing different cultures. She is also passionate about rhythmic gymnastics which is her favorite sport.

EMILIA MUNARO

Emilia obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages, Civilization and the Science of Language at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2016. There, she studied Swedish and Languages from the Americas and later went on to obtain a Degree in European, American and other Post-colonial Languages and Literatures with a master’s degree in international relations and immigration law. After graduation, Emilia moved to the United States where she worked for several firms dealing with civil rights and family law.

At ICA Emilia has had extensive experience amending and correcting vital records, successfully solving discrepancies that are often found in an individual’s documents and ensuring that all certificates are acceptable for the Italian citizenship process. She draws on her experience to offer all of our current clients the assistance they need when navigating the often over-complicated process to correct misspellings on their documents, especially older documents from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

She has a keen eye for noticing even when even minor corrections would be necessary. To say that she analyzes each case with extreme care and attention is an understatement. Emilia’s role at ICA is to ensure that everything goes smoothly during our clients’ dual citizenship application process.

GIULIA ROMITO

Giulia obtained a BA degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation and American History from Padua University in 2016, and an MA degree in Languages from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice in 2018. Her studies focused on Romanian language and culture and on teaching English as a foreign language.

Giulia has lived in France, England, Romania and Spain where she greatly improved her language skills. During her time abroad, she worked as an interpreter and as a marketing director for an import/export Italian company which is famous worldwide for exporting Italian agricultural products.

Giulia’s role at ICA is to assists clients throughout their dual citizenship application process. Giulia has an eye for detail and she is particularly versed in genealogical research. In particular, she focuses on researching US records from 1800 to WWII. She is also very kind and patient, and she enjoys helping clients with complex cases which need extensive genealogical research.

During her spare time she loves reading, drawing and singing.

Giulia is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Romanian.

KORINA ZORETIĆ

Korina’s academic background is in administrative law, however, she also holds an MA in both History and English Language and Literature. Prior to joining ICA, Korina worked and volunteered for a number of NGOs and she gained extensive experience in international settings by working with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Korina’s role at ICA is to help clients retrieve documents from the US which are needed to support their petition for citizenship via the court system. She is specialized in genealogical research, particularly in retrieving US vital records (both civil and religious) issued prior to 1900. She is also an expert on amendments to vital records issued prior to 1940 and has obtained several complex amendments to old records which were crucial for numerous cases. Korina also acts as liaison with ICA’s Italian attorneys who are specialized in 1948 cases.

Korina has always been interested in law and history and she has combined this passion with the work she carries out for ICA’s clients.

In her free time Korina enjoys reading about history and psychology and learning languages. She speaks Italian, English and Croatian fluently, she speaks and understands Slovak and she is currently learning German and Dutch.

ARIANNA MOMOLI

Arianna obtained a Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages and a Master degree in Language Sciences from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. During her undergraduate years she lived in Moscow where she attended the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. During her graduate years Arianna worked as an intern and as a legal assistant and translator for the public and private sectors both in Italy and in the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining ICA, Arianna worked in the Court in Bolzano where she applied her passion for foreign languages to the legal field. In particular, she worked as an administrative assistant and helped file court cases concerning the acquisition of Italian citizenship. Having thoroughly assessed court cases, Arianna became aware of the intricacies in the process and this experience motivated her to join ICA where she currently helps individuals with Italian descent prepare applications that are ultimately filed via courts in Italy. In particular, she retrieves all the legal documents needed to file an application, she coordinates the certification of the translations of her clients’ records with ICA’s legal office and after the hearings have been held, she liaises between her clients and ICA’s lawyers in order to register the final judgment which indicates that the judge’s ruling on her client’s petition to citizenship is final. In fact, the final judgments need to be registered through the Italian consulate which covers the jurisdiction where the applicant resides in order for her clients to apply for an Italian passport, which she also helps coordinate.

In her spare time Arianna enjoys baking cakes and watching tv series. She also loves traveling. She is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and Russian, and she also speaks conversational German.

KRISTINA BABIC

Kristina was born in Rijeka (originally Fiume), a former Italian territory in Croatia. She obtained her Master’s Degree in English and French language and literature from the University of Zadar, Croatia.
Prior to joining ICA, Kristina worked at a non-profit organization that specialized in funding basic and applied scientific research. Her main duties included organizing and coordinating the process of project proposal evaluation with a number of leading international experts as well as monitoring the implementation of funded projects.

The experience of working in a fast-paced environment allowed her to meet people from all over the world and to develop a number of valuable skills. In particular, at ICA, Kristina assists clients throughout the process of retrieving and legalizing the documents needed for their citizenship applications. Her duties also include correcting vital records as well scheduling appointments at Italian consulates. She is very thorough and detail-oriented and, as such, she enjoys carrying out genealogical research as well as locating older U.S. vital records which are key for supporting clients’ cases.

In her spare time, Kristina enjoys traveling, reading and she is passionate about learning new languages.

She is fluent in Italian, English, Croatian, French and Spanish.

SILVIA ANDREELLO

Silvia graduated from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice with a degree in languages and civilization, and then obtained a master degree in international relations. Her studies focused on English, French, German, international law, and human rights.

During her studies, Silvia completed an internship at the Council of Europe in Venice, a leading human rights organization. She worked alongside the director and organized institutional events to raise awareness about human rights and democracy.

At ICA, Silvia assists clients in preparing their application for Italian citizenship at Italian consulates and Italian courts. In particular, she retrieves the legal documentation needed to file an application, she takes care of requesting the authentications and the apostilles on the vital records, and she also prepares all the paperwork needed to file a lawsuit. After the hearings have been held, she liaises between her clients and ICA’s lawyers to register the final judgment, which indicates that the decision to recognize the client as an Italian citizen is no longer subject to appeal.

In her free time, Silvia loves traveling, trying different cuisines, and improving her language skills.

She is fluent in English, French and German.

ANNA BOLDRIN

Anna holds a BA degree in modern language and literature from the University of Ferrara. She is fluent in three languages: Italian, English and Spanish.

At ICA, Anna works as the assistant to attorney, Andrea Permunian. Her responsibilities include managing the archive of past and planned lawsuits and preparing all the required documents for filing citizenship claims in court.

During her free time, Anna’s passions include traveling across Europe, listening to Latin music, and playing volleyball.

ROBERTA FOGATO

Roberta pursued her studies at the University of Trento, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in modern languages in tourism and business mediation. Roberta then completed a master’s degree in languages for international communication and cooperation at the University of Bologna, where she had the opportunity to enhance her English and Spanish language skills.

Roberta’s passion for languages was sparked during a cultural exchange program in the UK, where she first stayed in Eastbourne and later in Edinburgh. These experiences not only allowed her to meet students from diverse countries, but also introduced her to new cultures and perspectives.

As a member of ICA, Roberta has a central role in assisting clients with their Italian citizenship applications. She specializes in supporting clients applying through Italian consulates in the U.S. and through judicial proceedings in Italy. Her responsibilities include procuring vital records from Italy, the U.S., and Canada, rectifying discrepancies that may affect clients’ applications, and ensuring the proper legalization of foreign vital records to support their cases. Additionally, Roberta coordinates appointment schedules at the Italian Consulate in New York for ICA clients.

Roberta is known for her meticulous and detail-oriented approach. She takes great pride in addressing clients’ needs and handles each citizenship application with dedication and care.

In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and watching TV series in their original languages, and is also passionate about swimming.

She is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and French.

MARIANA RAMALHO

Mariana, a Brazilian native, completed her college education in Portugal. She then obtained a bachelor’s degree in arts and design and went on to complete a post graduate degree in communication and marketing.

As part of her bachelor’s program, she studied in Croatia, where she immersed herself in the country’s culture and learned Croatian.

Mariana speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian.

Mariana has also completed an internship in Lima, Peru, where she did volunteer work within the local community, as well as participated in various international programs. This has allowed her to embrace her role as a global citizen and provided opportunities to communicate with individuals from different countries.
Mariana was also part of the organizing team for networking conferences among students in Latin America.

At ICA, Mariana’s role is to help her clients prepare their application for Italian citizenship by descent via Italian consulates abroad, municipalities or local courts in Italy. In particular, she takes care of retrieving the vital records, assessing potential discrepancies and overseeing the legalization and translation processes.

In her leisure time, Mariana enjoys hiking, practicing yoga and Pilates. She also has a passion for travel, reading books, and photography.

ALINA PICCIALLO

Alina graduated in linguistic mediation, with a focus on tourism and business communication from the University for Foreign Students of Siena, and had the opportunity to live and study in a multi-cultural environment.

Alina’s passion for immigration law, and her desire to help people reconnecting with their roots is what led her to join ICA. Her aim is to help our clients navigating in the complex entanglements of Italian citizenship law.

At ICA, Alina assists clients throughout every step of the citizenship application process, helping gather and collate all the records needed for their citizenship application.
Alina carries out a meticulous analysis of the documents, making sure that they are consistent and suitable for the citizenship process.

In her free time, Alina enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

CHIARA DIDIO

Chiara obtained a bachelor’s degree in international and diplomatic science from the University of Bologna. Chiara then attended the University of Parma and achieved a degree in international and business development.
This international academic background gave Chiara in-depth knowledge on subjects such as international law and international economics with a focus on the EU policies.

Chiara is fluent in Italian and English.

At ICA, Chiara assists clients at every stage of their Italian citizenship by descent application, from conducting meticulous genealogical research, to retrieving and amending the documents required to apply.

ERIKA SALSANO

Erika holds a bachelor’s degree in modern languages and literatures from the University of Salerno. Erika also refined her knowledge of the English language and studied Russian.
Erika also holds a Master’s degree in European and American Languages and cultures from the University of Padua.
During her studies, Erika participated in multiple cultural exchange programs, and spent time in England, Lithuania, and Russia.

ISABELLA MARZULLO

Isabella has studied at the University of Bari, Parma, and Padua, and holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistic and intercultural communication, a master’s degree in modern languages in international cooperation and communication, and a master’s degree in specialized translation.
In addition to this, Isabella has participated in an Erasmus+ program in Spain.

Isabella is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

At ICA, Isabella works as a citizenship specialist, assisting clients through their citizenship application process by descent and by marriage. Isabella conducts meticulous research in the client’s genealogy, and retrieves essential documents that help clients in the citizenship application process, and, reconnect with their Italian heritage.
