
Ilaria holds a master’s degree in specialized translation and conference interpreting from the University of Trieste, where she studied English and Russian. During her undergraduate studies, she took part in an Erasmus studying program in Tallinn, Estonia.
Ilaria is fluent in English and Russian. She also has some basic knowledge of Spanish and German.
Prior to joining ICA, Ilaria worked as an event hostess and interpreter, and her duties involved customer service and security help. Ilaria has also volunteered abroad in the fields of archeology and animal wildlife conservation, specifically in Germany and Spain.
During the Covid-19 pandemic she also worked in hospital hubs, where she assisted immigrants and war refugees with healthcare paperwork and interacting with the Italian medical staff.
At ICA, Ilaria provides assistance to clients with everything needed to apply for Italian citizenship by descent, both at Italian consulates abroad and via the Italian municipalities. Ilaria is responsible for requesting and legalizing the documentation needed, as well as guiding the clients throughout the entire citizenship process.
In her free time, Ilaria loves reading, cooking, exercising and travelling. She also has a passion for the history of art and enjoys visiting art exhibitions and museums.

Bianca was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She attended the University of Business and Social Sciences where she graduated with a degree in advertising.
Before joining ICA, Bianca gained valuable professional experience working for several multinational communication agencies in Argentina. These roles helped her to become an open-minded individual with a passion for interacting with new and diverse people.
Bianca has Italian heritage and moved to Italy in 2021 and became an Italian citizen.

In her free time, Bianca enjoys travelling and learning about new cultures and cuisines. She is also passionate about reading and drawing.

Alexandra was born in La Paz, Bolivia, and later moved to Italy to pursue her education.
She has a degree in political, social, and international sciences, with a focus in international relations.
Alexandra has traveled extensively, and has lived in Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, and the United States. While in the U.S., Valentina worked for NATO, utilizing her English, diplomatic and organizational skills.
Alexandra is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and is currently learning French.
At ICA, Valentina is a citizenship specialist, and assists clients throughout the entire process of applying for citizenship via Italian municipalities. Her efficiency and dedication ensure that clients feel secure and confident in their citizenship journey.
Alexandra is passionate about travel and discovering new cultures. In her leisure time, Alexandra enjoys attending concerts and reading.

Anna obtained a BA degree in History from Padua University in 2011 and an MA degree in Historical Science in 2013. Afterward, she took English and cultural classes at MassBay Community College in Newton, MA. Prior to joining ICA, Anna worked in Boston teaching the Italian language to the children of Italian-American families.
Thanks to her academic background and personal studies, Anna is an expert genealogical researcher and has extensive experience in using Italian and US genealogy databases. She is also an expert in amendments and corrections to US and Italian Vital records. Anna routinely handles complex applications for Italian citizenship by descent (jure sanguinis) and by marriage.
In her spare time, Anna loves spending time with children (she volunteered in a Brazilian kindergarten back in 2008) and currently helps children in her neighborhood prepare for their English tests. Anna owns a house on the Sicilian island of Favignana and loves spending the summer holidays there enjoying the local Italian cuisine.
She is fluent in English and Italian.

Alice graduated from The University of Ca’ Foscari in Venice, Italy, in 2014 where she majored in business and foreign languages. She then obtained her Master’s degree at the Università degli Studi Internazionali in Rome, Italy.
Alice initially spent time studying foreign languages abroad in New York City and San Francisco, where she became more acquainted with the Italian American community sparking her interest in the subject of dual nationality and how she would be able to assist the community of people who she fell in love with while abroad. She then decided to move permanently to the US.
Alice is another one of our expert genealogical researchers with extensive knowledge on the usage of Italian and US genealogy databases. Her expertise also is with amendments and corrections to US and Italian Vital records. Her personal experience and knowledge of the Italian legal system and ability to unravel even the most complex cases is truly an asset to our team.

Elena holds a Bachelor degree in Languages and Cultures for International Commerce from the University of Verona where she studied English, Spanish and German, but also Management, Marketing, Communication and Comparative and European Public Law. After graduating, Elena worked as a researcher at the University of Harderwijk, the Netherlands. During her time in the Netherlands she was actively involved in the community of expats and she organized events and gatherings for the Italian community. This experience greatly developed Elena’s communication and interpersonal skills.
Elena works in ICA’s offices in Italy and she helps clients apply for Italian citizenship Jure Sanguinis via a municipality in Italy. Her role is to help ICA’s clients retrieve the US and Italian vital records that are required to file an application. Elena also organizes clients’ stay in Italy; in particular, she takes care of finding accommodation, setting up utilities and scheduling appointments in offices. She then assists clients from the day they arrive to the day on which they submit their application at the citizenship office in the town hall. Elena not only liaises with the municipality of Rovigo but she also assists clients who decide to apply for citizenship in a different municipality in Italy.
In her spare time Elena teaches English and Spanish in her neighborhood; she enjoys cooking multicultural dishes and walking her dog. She also loves swimming, which she has been practicing since she was five years old.

Ivana was born in Rijeka, Croatia. She obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Trieste, Italy. In particular, moving to Italy gave her an insight into the bureaucratic requirements needed to live in the country, and this experience triggered her interest in Italian immigration law.
Ivana spent her final year of university in Leeds, UK, mostly conducting research for her thesis in the field of law and literature. In particular, she had the privilege to access the library that preserved Shakespeare’s First Folio and many other historical records. This academic experience led Ivana to take her interest in history and research methods one step further.
Ivana has always been eager to work in an international environment where she could learn more about Europe’s history, laws and migration waves and these interests ultimatley informed her decision to join ICA.
At ICA Ivana takes care of her clients’ citizenship applications from A to Z. Her duties mostly involve carrying out genealogical research to locate her clients’ family’s vital records. In particular, Ivana’s excellent research skills allow her to locate old records in Italy as well as in the Italian territories that were ceded to the former Republic of Yugoslavia after World War II.
Ivana is an avid reader and an amateur dancer. She enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and Croatian.

Eleonora is from Pieve di Cadore, a small village which is located in the heart of the Dolomites. Her roots are very important to her because living in a small community taught her to appreciate and value small things in life.
Eleonora obtained a BA degree in Foreign Languages (English and German) and History from the University of Verona. In 2017 she studied at Kassel Universität, in Germany, where she greatly enhanced her German and English language skills. Her time abroad was also an excellent opportunity to develop her communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. In particular, during her time in Germany she became part of the Italian-German communities and she experienced first-hand how Italian culture was still strongly felt. This triggered her interest in learning about dual citizenship, as well as her desire to help people abroad obtain Italian citizenship.
Prior to becoming part of the ICA team, Eleonora worked in the customer relations department for the Italian fashion brand Diesel S.p.A. Thanks to this experience Eleonora has developed excellent customer service skills.
At ICA Eleonora has specialized in retrieving vital records from Italy and amending them. She works in close contact with Italian public administrative offices such as municipalities (comuni) and prefectures (prefetture). In particular, Eleonora’s field of expertise is researching genealogical records specifically in southern Italy from the Italian Unification to WWII. She also has extensive knowledge of birth and marriage registrations through the AIRE for Italian citizens residing abroad.
In her free time, Eleonora likes going for long walks in the mountains and in the countryside, and she also enjoys reading classic literature. Eleonora is currently completing her Master’s degree in the Economics of Tourism at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
She speaks fluent English and German.

Elisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Languages and Civilizations from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
She spent her third year of university in Huelva, Spain, where she greatly improved her English and Spanish language skills. When she graduated she decided to pursue a Master’s degree in English literature at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
During her Master’s degree, she volunteered for the Erasmus Student Network in Venice where she helped organize cultural events, city tours, and trips for international students. This experience allowed her to meet people from different countries as well as gain extensive experience in event planning and management. Elisa also taught English and Spanish to adults.
At ICA Elisa specializes in assisting people with their applications for citizenship by descent and the reacquisition of citizenship (for individuals who have lost their Italian citizenship and must file an application in Italy). Her role includes coordinating the arrival of clients in Italy, acting as liaison with the city hall and local governmental offices, interpreting and accompanying ICA’s clients to all the necessary meetings.
Elisa loves meeting new people and is always very eager to work with new clients and help them navigate through their citizenship application process.
Elisa is a voracious reader, and she spends most of her free time reading and discussing novels in her book club. This is why in 2019 she also attended a course about novel translation in Milan.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Enrica holds a bachelor’s degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation (Italian, English and Spanish) along with a master’s degree in International Relations and immigration law.
As a part of ICA, Enrica specializes in dual citizenship applications in Italy.
What sets Enrica apart is her knowledge of the Italian rules and regulations related to residency in Italy for foreigners.
Her dedication to assisting clients who wish to apply for citizenship in her homeland is tireless and incomparable. She is always available and happy to welcome ICA applicants upon their arrival in Italy. Enrica enjoys sharing the beauty of Italy and our country’s main attractions.
From the moment applicants arrive, to the end of the process, Enrica takes care of their needs and helps them navigate the overcomplicated Italian bureaucratic system.
She is very detail-oriented, both from the perspective of the documentation required for the process and of the administrative and bureaucratic requirements.

Ilaria graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Ferrara, with a Master’s degree in Professional Translation as well as from Université de Reims-Champagne-Ardennes in Reims France.
During her academic studies she engaged in the study of Germanic and Romance languages from a comparative and historical perspective. Her studies centralized on the origin of the European languages, literature and cultures through examining and comparing old Italian, English and French manuscripts. This journey into the past lead her way to understanding the structures of the English language and how languages have developed and transformed over the centuries.
Her love for history and passion for research of ancient documents, helped Ilaria become an expert in the research and retrieval of old Italian birth and marriage certificates, which are key documents for the Italian citizenship by descent application process.
As a part of ICA, Ilaria specializes in Italian documents procurement and Italian translations. In her free time, Ilaria is also a ballet dancer and an avid reader of history books.

Veronica has a background in accounting and a strong passion for languages and cultures. In 2017, she moved to New York to work with Italian-American families and their children where she thought them Italian. She then moved to London, where she worked at a well-known international organization where she advanced to team leader.
Her experiences in both New York and London enabled her to develop her English language skills further, gain a deeper understanding of different cultures, and learn various communication techniques to connect with people from diverse backgrounds effectively.
Veronica’s interest in the dynamics of Italian communities in New York and London led her to become an Italian Citizenship Specialist at ICA. She finds great joy in helping individuals reconnect with their family heritage and discover their own family history.
In her leisure time, Veronica enjoys reading books, spending time with children, engaging in physical exercise, and working on personal development; including meditation exercises. She welcomes opportunities to travel, whether alone or with others, as a way to embrace new challenges, and explore new cultures and cuisines.
Veronica is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and French.

Serena holds a bachelor’s degree in languages, literature, and culture from Orientale University in Naples. Following her graduation, she relocated to Perugia to pursue a master’s degree in languages, literature, and intercultural translations. During her time at university, Serena gave private lessons to fellow students in English, Spanish and Italian.
Before joining ICA, Serena gained experience by working for various online magazines, where she wrote articles on international relations and human rights. At ICA, Serena guides her clients through the stages of applying for Italian citizenship by descent. In particular, she specializes in helping clients file their application via a municipality in Italy. In addition to retrieving and legalizing all the documents needed to apply, Serena also helps her clients to establish residency in Italy once they arrive, and to complete all the necessary forms required to apply for citizenship. Serena liaises between her clients, the municipality, and the other governmental offices that are involved in processing a citizenship application, and she helps clients to apply for a passport via the police headquarters once they have been recognized as Italian citizens.
Serena is a ballet dancer and enjoys indulging in classic novels. She also likes traveling the world to explore different cultures. Serena is fluent in four languages: her native Italian, English, Spanish, and Russian.
